Chronic mind body symptoms

Pain Reprocessing Therapy

Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) has proven to be highly effective at eliminating chronic pain experienced by those with back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, fatigue, dizziness, IBS, knee, leg or foot pain, lingering pain from an injury, or any other chronic symptom lasting longer than three months.

Trauma Treatment

EMDR

Difficult experiences that overwhelm our nervous systems can sometimes get stored in our memory networks in a way that keeps us from moving on. When triggered, our nervous system gets activated and we may experience intense fear, anger, reactivity, withdrawal, sadness, shame, physical pain, etc. The process of EMDR allows old memories to metabolize, reducing their emotional impact, while simultaneously forming a more compassionate and resilient sense of self.

LIFe Transitions

Individual Therapy

Throughout our lives we have seasons of deep transition, where it can feel like the rug has been pulled out from underneath. When profound change takes place, so too does opportunity to release what is no longer serving you and move towards greater alignment and authentiticty. Maybe it’s a job that no longer fits, a relationship, or maybe its a dream becoming actualized. Whatever your journey, I am passionate about working with those to follow their inner knowing.

Embodied Healing

Embodiment is an invitation back to yourself that celebrates the brilliance of an interconnected mind, body, and spirit.

guiding principals to establish

Embodied Healing

Curiosity

Therapy does not have to be dull. Inviting curiosity, playfulness and humor defuses our nervous systems’ need to be in a chronic threat response, allowing for deeper insight, action and fun.

Compassion

Adopting a stance of self compassion diffuses shame. This creates more ease in our bodies, greater self acceptance, and allows us to move with more grace in relation to ourselves and others.

Collaboration

Therapy is an opportunity for a collaborative, joint learning process that centers an individual’s lived experience and story. This fosters reciprocal learning, embodied presence and relational safety.

Choice

Centering choice in the therapeutic relationship is imperative for creating felt safety, agency and empowerment. Reconnecting to your own inner knowing allows for deeper alignment and integrity.
